Dinner Dance, Saturday 17^th November at the Outdoor Bowling Club, Auchinleck

 

After a year of hard work members and supporters of the Barony A Frame Trust are taking time out to relax with a fundraising dinner and dance.

 The event, which will be held on Saturday 17^th November at the Outdoor Bowling Club, Auchinleck is a chance for old friends to meet each other over dinner and a drink and perhaps chat over old times.

 ‘During this year the Barony A Frame Trust has undertaken a number of big community events partly because it is the 50^th anniversary of the Barony pit disaster.’ Commented Barney Menzies, chair of the Trust. ‘We’ve also carried out a feasibility study and community consultation into the future of the A Frame site along with commemorative events. Since we’ve achieved a lot in a short space of time we all felt it was time to have a bit of a party so a couple of the Trustees organised the dinner and dance.’
