Auchinleck Indoor Bowling Club from 11am on Wednesday 28th November
The Barony A Frame Trust is holding it’s AGM in November this year and for the first time is opening the meeting to members of the public.
In a departure from its usual format the Trust will have an open session during which members of the public can meet board members, hear about the Trust, the work it does and discuss any ideas they may have for taking the Trust and the A Frame site into the future.
‘This year we want to extend our meeting into the community welcoming anyone who has an interest in mining and the A Frame or those who just want to find out more about us,’ says Barney Menzies, chair of the Trust. ‘We want the A Frame to continue into the future so it’s important that we let people know we’re here and involve anyone in the community who wants to become involved. The more local people who take part, the better.’
Members of the public are invited to the Auchinleck Indoor Bowling Club from 11am on Wednesday 28th November. The meeting will be informal so if anyone has an hour to spare they should come along and join us for a cup of tea.
